This Swiss IT company with around 50 staff had set itself a focus on social issues and had already taken initial steps at personnel level. As the company is aware of its environmental impact, both social and ecological dimensions are addressed through expanded objectives.

Goal 1

Measures

  • Develop or provide learning and knowledge platforms aligned with the curriculum for our training companies to ensure quality in training programmes.
  • Run information campaigns and partner with educational institutions for learning cooperation in line with the ICT job profile concept.
  • Provide trained staff from our company to mentor apprentices.

Goal 2

D’ici 2030, nous réduirons de 50 % nos émissions de CO₂, mesurées en t d’éq.-CO₂, par rapport à 2021 (scopes 1, 2 et 3).

Measures

  • Create an internal Green IT measures catalogue with a short-term outline concept and a medium-term detailed plan following Swiss Informatics Society recommendations. Set measurable metrics based on initial energy consumption measurements and implement regular monitoring with dedicated managers to track and improve sustainability targets.
  • Raise awareness of climate protection among staff and customers by focusing on business model emissions (Scope 1-3) and best practice examples in two free workshops per calendar year.
  • Optimise data centre space and infrastructure by raising room temperature to save energy and planning infrastructure for direct water cooling for effective cooling of future hardware. Also use data centre space efficiently by enclosing cold aisles.
  • Provide annual training for all staff on eco-design and green IT to reduce the ecological footprint of their software through sustainable coding methods.

Goal 3

D’ici 2028, nous couvrirons 50 % de nos besoins en personnel qualifié (ce qui signifie la création de postes) grâce à nos programmes de formation internes et à nos partenariats avec des écoles professionnelles.

Measures

  • Develop and implement internal training programmes aligned with the company's long-term vision.
  • Cooperate with technical vocational schools, for example by participating in careers information days and offering work placements.

Goal 4

D’ici 2028, nous afficherons une meilleure répartition des sexes, avec une part moyenne de 35 % de femmes dans l’entreprise.

Measures

  • Offer dedicated training and mentoring programmes for women.
  • Take targeted recruitment measures and promote women in technical and non-technical roles, for example following Women in Tech Initiative recommendations.
