The Lean & Green Award is an award from GS1 Switzerland that honours companies that are actively committed to sustainable logistics. The aim of the Lean & Green programme is to reduce tCO2eq emissions in logistics and thus make a contribution to environmental protection. Participating companies undertake to reduce their tCO2eq emissions by at least 20% within five years. This is achieved by implementing various measures to optimise their logistics processes, such as more efficient transport methods or the use of more environmentally friendly vehicles.
Companies of all sizes in the logistics sector can utilise the specified measures.
