This western Swiss currency exchange company with around 20 employees had already successfully implemented various measures in the areas of paperless offices and occupational health management. Following a strategic realignment, the company decided to systematise its commitment to sustainability and set itself measurable targets. The subsequent analysis revealed the greatest potential in the selection of partner companies, gender equality and climate protection.

Goal1

By 2024, we will ensure a solidarity round-up system for every financial transaction, whereby we will donate the corresponding amount in one quarter per year to support a local NGO for climate protection.

Measures

  • Develop and launch a new product.
  • Identify initiatives and organisations that are eligible for donations based on credible criteria.
  • Communicate externally with our customers to receive as many donations as possible. Involve customers in the selection of beneficiaries through a voting procedure.

Goal 2

We will achieve equal pay for all employees in equivalent positions by 2023.

Measures

  • Commission an external personnel services company.
  • Identify the items to be compared.
  • Adjust the identified wages.

Goal 3

By 2024, 100% of our employees will complete at least one job-related training programme per year to ensure their employability and career development.

Measures

  • Analyse the training needs of the workforce.
  • Develop and provide a further training programme with a corresponding budget.
  • Exchange knowledge between the various departments.
