This industrial company in German-speaking Switzerland with around 150 employees had already successfully implemented various measures in energy efficiency and responsible waste management. Due to increasing customer demands, the company decided to systematise its sustainability commitment and set measurable targets. The subsequent analysis revealed the greatest potential in climate protection, gender equality and developing recyclable products.

Goal 1

By 2025, we will offer at least one reusable product for all disposable products in our catalogue.

Measures

  • Label and classify all catalogue items into disposable and reusable products.
  • Research continuously, add reusable products to the portfolio and adapt product intake processes.
  • Categorise suppliers and set up exchanges.

Goal 2

We will be a climate-neutral company by 2025 (Scope 1, 2 and 3).

Measures

  • Create a carbon balance.
  • Define and implement reduction measures, adapt procurement processes, switch to renewable energy.
  • Collect data and report annually.

Goal 3

By 2030, at least 40% of both genders will be represented in key management functions; in the long term, we are pursuing the goal of full parity.

Measures

  • Embed gender equality in personnel regulations.
  • Collect data for the baseline and develop an action plan.
  • Provide training on equal treatment and non-discrimination.
